(CANCELLED) Sunsetting Collaborate Ultra: Options on Archiving and Repurposing Lecture Recordings – April 14, 2021

CANCELLED WEBINAR: This webinar has been cancelled due to unexpected circumstances. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

With the sunsetting of Collaborate Ultra, instructors who have been using this platform to store lecture recordings will need to consider where they will move their videos and how they will make use of them in the future. In this special session, an Arts ISIT educational technologist and learning designer will provide you with all the information you need in this process, including:

  • Deciding whether recorded lectures should be stored on Kaltura My Media, OneDrive or Collaborative Learning Annotation System (CLAS), depending on how these videos will be used in the future.
  • Consulting on approaches for repurposing recorded lectures for future teaching purposes such as flipped/hybrid learning.
  • Editing or post-productions options to enhance the teaching value of recordings or remove personal student information or copyrighted material.

Join this session to explore options around preserving your lecture recordings and the future opportunities to use these videos to enhance teaching and learning.

For more information on the discontinuation of Collaborate Ultra see the Arts ISIT Sunsetting Collaborate Ultra information page.

*Please note that this webinar is only available to faculty and staff.
