(WEBINAR) Using iPeer for Peer Assessment Activities – November 18, 2021

iPeer is a UBC developed tool that enables students to assess their team members’ contributions to group assignments. Not only do iPeer evaluations ensure fair grading, but they can also help students to share their thoughts on team member’s participation, reflect on the teamwork process and how they could improve their own contributions.

 

This webinar will be run by an Arts ISIT educational technologist and learning designer team, who will explore iPeer functionalities and provide tips on how to decide on the evaluation methods that best suit your group assignments, and best practices for integrating group participation assessment into assessment activities. We will also be walking through the steps needed to set up iPeer for your course and integrate it with Canvas Groups and Gradebook.
