Blackboard Collaborate Ultra

Blackboard Collaborate Ultra is a web conferencing application that can be used to conduct live online lectures and seminars with your students. It can be enabled through any Canvas course, and lectures can be facilitated easily through the use of screen sharing, uploading videos and presentations, and a collaborative whiteboard feature.

This one-hour workshop will guide you through utilizing Blackboard Collaborate Ultra’s main features, including hosting sessions, sharing media, raising hands, breakout groups, and making past sessions available for download.

Zoom

Zoom Video Communications is a web conferencing application that can be used to conduct live online lectures and seminars with your students. Similar to Collaborate Ultra, lectures can be facilitated easily through the use of screen sharing, hosting sessions, raising hands, and creating breakout groups. Zoom integration with Canvas is currently in the works.

This one-hour webinar will guide you through utilizing Zoom’s main tools, best practices, and other neat features.
